Auto refresh data from website in PowerBI service

Hi all Do i need to setup a Gateway connection to configure a scheduled refresh for my data? (Connecting to a website) Selwyn

That's correct. Unless your data are in cloud and you can get them directly from there

I just wonder why is it called "On-premises data gateway" as the data resides on the website and not on premises....

  It's called on-premises because the data are loaded from sources which are available on premises and they are not in cloud.
  
  So the term is related to the source of the data and not the destination of the data.
  
  I hope it makes sense?
