Auto refresh PBI report with new files in data source folder
Hi everyone,
I get these scheduled reports on Outlook everyday that I have mapped to a local folder on my computer. I need to set up this folder on PBI as a data source and I need PBI to refresh in aligment with the latest report saved in the folder automatically. The report arrives in my Outlook inbox at 6 PM everyday and it gets saved in my local folder at 7 PM everyday. I need PBI to refresh automatically at 7 PM everyday with the latest file in the folder. Any way to do this?

After setting, I suggest you set a 7pm schedule refresh in powerbi service.

fayanan , Setup(install on desktop) a gateway to have access to the folder and schedule refresh/ incremental etl on power bi service.
On the three dots of dataset, go to setting, configure gateway and setup refresh
