Auto-exits

Hi community, in this time, I have a techical issue because this 'auto-exist'  with many filters, I try the option, https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/transform-model/value-filter-behavior

So  it's happening :(, I actually understand that the preview feature, whats really mean "preview" ? It will released and always exists or maybe.

In the experience, when you recommend use this feature preview?

Thanks in advance.

  • Hi Peter_23 ,
Thanks for reaching out to Community Forum.
Thanks for sharing the details. The auto-exit issue you’re seeing with multiple filters can sometimes happen because the feature you’re using is still in
preview. Preview features are like early-access versions they let you try new functionality, but they aren’t fully finalized yet. That means occasional issues like this can happen. Preview features are great for testing and exploring, but for important reports or production work, it’s usually safer to stick with the fully released features. You can still experiment with preview features, maybe in smaller scenarios or test reports, and keep an eye on the release notes to see when they become fully supported.

    Regards,
    Sreeteja.

Sometimes, preview features are very safe to use, others (Datamarts) are not.

In this instance, I would expect this to be moved to GA in a very short amount of time. I don't think they would go to the effort of building this if it were not guaranteed.

  • Hi v-sshirivolu I now understand the preview feature, so I decided to alternative method, 🙂 .

KNP  thanks, I prefer to avoid "preview" because the report have to move a prod.
