Auto Sorting in Sankey Chart

Also wondering the same thing. I noticed you can manually arrange the to/from sides but that gets a little messy when using slicers. In my case the to/from categories have a meaningful value to them so sorting them helps us see what transitions are adding value and where we are losing value at from one time frame to the next.
