Attempt II: Version difference installing latest PowerBI
Dear community,
Today the latest release: Version: 2.78.5740.721. I have Version: 2.76.5678.782 64-bit (december 2019) installed. I try to install the latest one but it immideately starts with the only options "repair / remove". After that still Version: 2.76.5678.782 64-bit (december 2019) is shown. So I tried a clean install on another computer which went well, but when checking version I also see Version: 2.76.5678.782 64-bit (december 2019). Is this correct or do I miss some essential information?

I found a similar problem after downloading the latest version yesterday.
But today it has been repaired and can use the latest version normally ( Feb 2020 ).You could download it again and check if it works.

AadDijksman I think the current verion is .282 (Dec 2019)
