Assistance on filter
Hi,
I want to create a single filter that contains these requirements
- first requirement would be classification by 3months, 6 months, 9 months and 12 months based on current date.
- after filtering by the desired month the second requirement should have the option to show Weekend Only or Weekdays Only
The 3rd requirement (not filter) would be calculated column to display Dates (Mon to Sun) based selected requierements from the option above.
Thanks...tksnota01
Hi tksnota01 ,
I think this video here should do the trick for the first part:
Show last 6 months in Power BI based on slicer selection and make number of months dynamic
For the weekend part, I would add such an attribute directly to your calendar/date dimension (such a table is always a good idea to have anyway).Let me know if this helps your if you get stuck somewhere.

Hi tksnota01
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.
I would also take a moment to thank tackytechtom , for actively participating in the community forum and for the solutions you’ve been sharing in the community forum. Your contributions make a real difference.
For filtering 3, 6, 9, or 12 months using a disconnected slicer and dynamic filtering (as shown in the video) is a good approach.
For weekends/weekdays filter adding a column like "Weekday" or "Weekend" to your date table will work well.
Best Regards,
Menaka.
