Do we have any method to follow that if i assign should get 2020 january month as 13, February 2020 as 14 so on !!
Thanks for your help
You want Sequential, https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Quick-Measures-Gallery/Sequential/m-p/380231?search-action-id=10196...
Hi @Anonymous ,
Am I assuming correctly that you are trying to display more than 12 months on the same axis? If that's the case, I normally create a new text column with dates in YYYY/MM format and sorting those in alphabetical order. Hope that helps.
Best,
Tom
no i presenting 14 months data and it is not working that approach. January 2019 as coming as 1 and also January 2020 also coming as 1, which is resulting the presentation of data not coming in sequential order
hi @Anonymous
Just drag [Year] and [Month] in the visual together, as below, then sort by Year Month asc
and you could also use Sort By column in the power bi desktop.
