Asking for credentials with API

Hi,

I'm trying to get data from an API with a bearer token. Since it is paginated, I'm have the bearer token in my PQ and looping the data page by page. The script worked, only I had to change the endpoint. I can get the data from it with Postman, but if I want to get the data in PBI Desktop it will ask me to "enter credentials". I will pick Anonymous and none for privacy level, since the token is allready in my Power Query. This will give me a failure on credentials all the time.

I'm not a big fan of API's so I try to avoid it as much a possible, but in this case this in my only option. Can anyone give me some advice how to procede and/or give me an idea what could be the issue?

all of a sudden it worked. Didn't change anything, I guess there was an issue at their side.

Hi @ray_codex

Do you have any documentation related to that API?

I remember some time ago, this was the first article that helped me get started with API bearer tokens in Power BI. Just sharing it here — maybe it will help you:
