Good morning, everybody. I have the following R code that I run for "Get Data" in Power Query (before working with Power BI Desktop):
...
username <- readline(prompt = "username = ") ; password <- readline(prompt = "password = ")
....
The part shown is where Power Query gives me error, as it does not let me request data from the user through the "readline" function. Therefore, my question would be whether it is possible to request data from the user when running an R script in Power Query (either through that function of any other). Thanks a lot.
Hi, @miguelcasi
I’m not very familiar with R Script in Power Query, you can take a look at this case and find if it’s similar to your requirement:

To get more useful help, I suggest you to ask this question in the Power query Forum so that more experts in Power query can help you in advance.
Thanks very much!

@miguelcasi , Have you already checked this document ?

Yes, I have done it. What I'm asking is to take input from user in an R script in Power Query. What you have sent is the step to execute an R Script in Power Query. Thanks.
