Area chart Gradient descent with drilldown
Hi All,
I have a requirement.
The below is the area chart done by me.

I have to enhance this area chart.
let's say how beautifully can i dispaly this chart
-> for example gradeint descent in area chart
Note: I may use drill through by date in the visual.

can anyone assist me in enhance the area chart?

Power BI does not natively support true gradient fills in area charts.
Please refer alternative workarounds.
1. Use multi-color gradients (e.g. transitioning from green to red) to indicate performance or burn rate.Apply opacity variation to the area fill to show intensity or volume. Consider smoothing the line for a more fluid descent effect.
2. Add a drillthrough page with filters like Date, Transaction Type, or Region. Use tooltips or custom visuals like cards or KPI indicators to show metrics when drilling through.
3. Add slicers for Year, Month, or Card Type. Use Bookmarks to toggle between views like yearly vs monthly trends. Include dynamic titles that change based on filters.
4. Add data labels with conditional formatting (e.g. red if below threshold). Use shadows or glow effects on the line to make it pop. Consider custom themes to align with your company branding.
5. Try Deneb or Charticulator for custom visuals if native visuals are limiting. Use small multiples to compare across categories like card types or regions.
