Area Chart With Preset Shaded Sections

Hello all,

I need to recreate this chart in Power Bi:

This means that I need:

  • standardized green shading between 80 and 120
  • standardized red shading between 0 and 20, 140 and 160
  • standardized yellow shading between 20 and 80, 120 and 140

How can I go about doing this?

Create hardset data points for each of these levels and add shading between, underneath the actual data points?

Thank you!

  • I have an unofficial solution.

I used error bars alongside measures to get the shades I desired.

This video shows how to use multiple error bars:

I created upper and lower hardcoded measures, then an UCL and LCL, and used the measures as the "Upper bound" and "Lower bound" fields in the error bars.
