Are you able to Direct Query a SQLite database or does it have to be a full SQL Database source?

Basically the title. I was looking into setting up a SQLite database for some small scale live data query solutions.

I would like to know if Direct Query would work for both the desktop and published report online will work with a SQLite database file stored on OneDrive?

Any advice or feedback would be appreciate! Thanks!

Hi @powerjey ,

You can take a look at following links about use custom data connector to achieve odbc directquery:

Enabling direct query for a data source via an odbc driver

Enabling Direct Query for an ODBC based connector

And refer the following links:

@powerjey what is the connector you are using to bring the data into Power BI desktop?  ODBC?

If so, this documentation seems to indicate that Direct Query might not be possible.
