I wanted to know if the Power BI releases and Visual studio( VS) releases are in sync when the features are released for data model development.
Example : I have a model built with Power BI desktop and model built using VS at the same time and here will the properties available will be the same?
Is it true that Tabular editor is always in sync with Power BI releases and is preferred over VS to build data models?
Hi @Anonymous ,
I think this blog post by SQLBI, though from 2021, covers all of your questions 🙂
Development tools for Tabular models in 2021 - SQLBI
Personally, I prefer tabular editor the most.
Let me know if this helps!
