Hi, new user. I am having issues getting the ArcGIS map to work in in Power BI Desktop. When I bring the map onto the canvas it asks me to sign in. According to ESRI documentation, it mentions that Power BI includes basic maps with a standard account, but I don't see any info on how to create a standard account. I created a public account but that doesn't work. The only time I was able to get the map to work was creating a 21 day trial account, but that has expired. I confirmed ArcGIS is turned on in Options. I am at a loss as to how to get the basic map to work.

Hi @Racerx99 ,
I think the wording on the documentation might be a little confusing. A "standard acccount" means the same thing as not signing in. Here is the relevant documentation from ESRI:
https://doc.arcgis.com/en/power-bi/get-started/account-types.htm
All Power BI users have direct access to ArcGIS for Power BI right out of the box, without the need to sign in. When you create a map using a Standard account, the map is automatically connected to ArcGIS Online and you can access geocoding services, curated basemaps, and U.S. demographics to enhance your map.

Thanks djurecicK2. I reinstalled Power BI Desktop and looked more closely at the 2nd link you provided. Thanks. It seems to be working now. I appreciate it.
