Hello,
I have a slicer to control the ArcGIS map. The list of values in the slicer is based on a field parameter table. In the ArcGIS map, I have assigned latitue, longitude; I've also placed a category column into the Color well and the same field parameter to the Tooltips. When I select one value in the slicer, the symbology (Types) Color and Tooltips updates/reacts correctly to my selection. However, when I toggled to a different selection in the slicer, the color and tooltips won't respond or change, unless I hit the Refresh botton on top which will do the trick.
Can you help me understand why is the issue? Is it related to the cashing of ArcGIS Map visual in Power BI? Or something else?
Thanks!

Hi @ELIU
Ensure that the fields used for mapping—like city, region, or coordinates—are properly configured and formatted to match geographic standards. Also, make sure you're using the most recent version of the ArcGIS visual, which you can update via AppSource or Power BI Desktop. Running the latest version of Power BI Desktop ensures optimal compatibility and performance with custom visuals like ArcGIS.
If the above information helps you, please give us a Kudos and marked the Accept as a solution.

Hi @ELIU
The root cause may be the lack of support for dynamic field parameter switching in the caching mechanism of ArcGIS map visual. It is recommended to prioritize checking the field parameter configuration and updating the visual object version. If the problem still cannot be solved, you can contact Esri technical support for more in-depth debugging assistance. Esri Support | ArcGIS Technical Support

@Anonymous Thanks for your response. Would you mind explaining more in details for this " It is recommended to prioritize checking the field parameter configuration and updating the visual object version"? What configuration should I check? Which version of ArcGIS Map or Power BI desktop should I check or use?
