Even though ArcGIS is enabled in preview features, and I have built a map using that visualization tool, the visualization has been completely stripped from my model (blank). After reopening Desktop, the AcrGIS tool icon in visualization is completely gone. What happened?

    The visual requires network connectivity to load. Since you're posting here, you seem to have network.  Can you share your file with us so we can take a look?

      Definitely not a network problem, and I've duplicated this issue on other user's machines. It finally crashed to where I could submit a frown with all the details. They gave me a response saying it was an issue reported all over the place. I can't share my file here due to the PII content loaded within it. Sorry.

      Do we know if ArcGIS will be standard visual to pick from in the future as part of the desktop client tools?

        One more thought on this: double check that under File -> Options and Settings -> Options -> Global -> Security, the option "Use ArcGIS Maps for Power BI" is checked.
