Arc GIS Visualization bug - Can not select 'one country' in location type

I can not currently select the 'one country' option in the location type menu, under 'locations are in'. Wondering if this is a known bug, or if there is something I'm not doing right?

I have used Arc GIS Maps in the past to map a count of users within geological boundaries (in my case postcodes). All postcodes are in Australia (state = NSW). However, when creating new visualizations I can not seem to change the option in the Arc GIS Map that the locations are in one county, and therefore can not select Australia as that country.

Hi @moosepng ,

As far as my test, I can select "one country" successfully.

From this documentation, can see

In some cases, ZIP Codes may be associated with nonresidential P.O. boxes; these codes do not have boundaries associated with them, and the GeoEnrichment service does not maintain demographic data for this type of ZIP Code. If you're creating a map using nonresidential ZIP Codes, use the Points location type. Using the Boundaries location type will result in errors during geocoding.

Additionally, this documente introduced another way to select a country in ArcGIS:

To set the location country using the Format pane, follow these steps:

  1. From the Layers list, click the data layer for which you want to modify the location type.
  2. In the Visualizations pane, click the Format tab.

  3. Expand the Location type category.
  4. From the drop-down menu, choose the country in which your data is located. If your data spans multiple countries, choose World.

I also attach my sample below for reference.

Thanks for getting back to me.

I've recreated the error by following this procedure:

> Reinstalled Power BI

> Added data:

CountryStatePostcodeValue
AustraliaNSW20001
AustraliaNSW

2001

5
AustraliaNSW20022

> Changed col 'Postcode' data type to "Postal Code"
> Created Arc GIS for Power BI vis
> Opened Location type box and selected 'boundaries'

> Could not select 'one country' opion for 'Locations are in:'

Thanks for sharing your example. I still had trouble with it however.

1) Could not change location type when col Country added to Arc GIS for Power BI Map.
2) Could not change location type when col Postcode_aus was added Arc GIS for Power BI Map.

Oddly, I cound change the location type when I first loaded the map, but could only select United States - see pic.

I can't seem to attack my edited version of your example
