Hi all,
I have the following question : on a specific report, users need to filter their data through a lot of dimensions, so we have a sheet with many slicers to answer that need.
It has been found confusing that when a dimension is filtered through a slicer, the filter for that dimension on the filter page keeps displaying "all values".
Is there a way to apply the slicer on the filter page, so that users can see their current selection on the filter page as well ?
Best regards,
Martin.

Hi @93Martin , to my knowledge we cannot make the slicers on the report filter the page level filters. But as a workaround you can hide the filter pane entirely and build a slicer panel on the right side of the report page so that it will mimic the filter pane. You can build a collapsable slicer panel with the help of bookmarks.
Did I answer your question? If yes, please mark my post as a solution.
Thanks,
Jai

Hi, thank you to all for your answers !
Hi @93Martin ,
As mentioned by @Jai-Rathinavel , What you can do its hide the filter pane and build your own.
Even you filter the slicer, the native power bi filter pane will stil show all, but based on curent context of your filter.

Here are some general steps for Power BI, which is a common tool for such tasks:
Sync Slicers: Power BI allows you to sync slicers across multiple pages. This means that when a user selects a value in a slicer on one page, the same selection will be applied to slicers on other pages.
Use Report-Level Filters: Instead of using slicers, you can apply filters at the report level. This ensures that the filter is applied across all pages of the report.
Bookmarks and Buttons: Create bookmarks that capture the state of slicers and filters, and use buttons to navigate between these states.
Custom Visuals: There are custom visuals available in the Power BI marketplace that might offer more advanced filtering capabilities. Explore these to see if any meet your needs.
