Apply query changes stuck at Evaluating after I "Expand" a merged column.

Detail:

First table is "Accounts" with 6 columns and 1000 rows

Second table is "Account Parents", but with only 2 columns and 1000 rows

I merged the second table to the first table's parentID. Expanded the merged column and I'm not able to get past the "Evaluating" screen when applying. Anyone else experiencing this bug?

Yes, I am having this issue. Not specifically with merging tables, but when I try to refresh my queries, they got stuck at "Evaluating".

Does anyone know of a fix for this, or know if Microsoft is aware and looking for a fix to the issue?

Check to see if you have Merges in any of your tables. I had the same issue as you but narrowed it down to merging tables.

Yup, I did have some merges in my table, but wasn't able to fix the issue.

I reverted back to the June version of PowerBI, and it completely fixed the issue, no problems now. Below is a link to older versions of PBI Desktop in case you want to try it out.
