Application crashes seconds after it opens
Did a fresh install of PowerBI & fired it up, unfortunately, after a few seconds, it crashes.
Happens in both the MS Store version & 64-bit installer version.
- No RAM overuse
- Clearing cache in AppData/local didn't help
PC fairly capable - i5-9300H, Windows 10 20H2 update, 16GB ram

AnkitKukreja, finally found the solution. Undervolting is the cause here (Through intel XTU). Even though it was perfectly stable UV & all other apps worked fine, Power BI seems to have some conflicts

Hi Anonymous
This is probably due to some issues in your installation. Please uninstall it properly and delete the backup files from your c/d drive and try and reinstall it again.
I don't think there's any other issue rather than this.
Thanks,Ankit

Hi AnkitKukreja,
Thanks for the response.
I tried that. Infact, I even did a clean install of windows yesterday & installed Power BI from store. Same issue. Then I tried the installer versions, again, same issue

Hi Anonymous
That's quite surprising. Please try once again through this link, I believe there is a very small issue which is untraceable.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=58494Hope it works.
Thanks
Ankit
