App landing page

Hi,

 

How can I set a landing page for my app?

 

Since moving to the new version, this option seems to have disappeared. Users are currently directed to a random page within the app instead of the desired 'front page' dashboard. All users also seem to have access to the app content, which is not desirable.

 

Please can you point me in  the direction of the relevant settings.

    Hi Scolly,

    I think this part of features are migrated to the new navigation features. The app will redirect to the active report page(the top report page) that you configurated in navigation builder.

    For your requirement, you can create a custom report page with buttons that bind with different report page links to your app to achieve custom landing pages.

    Hi, thanks for that.

     

    I already have a dashboard set up as a navigation page which was originally the top page in the Contents list. This page had to be deleted and re-created, and although I have moved it back to the top of the Contents list, it is not defaulting to this page.

     

    Where can I specifically point to this page?

    Before publishing the report, and at the time of saving the report, save the report from the page you want as the Landing page, and then after publishing the landing page will be the page where you are saving the Power BI Report from.

      My app contains many reports and dashboards which are inter-linked.

       

      It's not the report page of a report that I need to specify, it's the main Dashboard that contains links to several reports in the App
