Anyway to have the drill features be accessible as an embedded element ?

Hey there, I'm a UI designer working on a custome Power BI implementation-- Right now the drill features according to the API docs are only available on right click or on hover:

I was hoping there was a way to get around the hover to have the drill features (and filter menu) be visible constantly, instead of on hover.  From a UX perspective it is better to have the features visible-- also avoids interference with elements above the menu on a smaller screen.  Anyone know of a way to keep the menu visible? Thanks

Hi, @RoxanneGux

After my research, I'm afraid it couldn't be achieved in Power BI for now. For your requirement , you can add it as an idea on Power BI Ideas forum and add your comments there to make this feature coming sooner.

Use custom tooltips instead of drillthrough

I'm reading this in the api docs for custom tooltips RE: Your suggestion  https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/desktop-custom-tooltips

I'm not seeing about turning off the hover and having the tooltips be persistent.

The person who has access to the designer for Power BI is using the drill down tool bar -- which seems to only be available on hover or right click--
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/consumer/end-user-drill (Scroll down to "Two ways to access the drill features")

Can you be more specific to how using custom tooltips would solve this issue? I want the tool bar to not appear only on hover -- but be persistently embedded.  Please give me a link in the API docs as I do not have access to the Power BI designer -- only thr API docs and the test branch for the deployment.  Thanks!
