Any suggestions on whether users can input a date directly using the date slicer?

Hi All,

Any suggestions on whether users can input a date directly using the date slicer?

  • Hi ashmitp869 ,

    Thanks for the update.
I tested this behavior on my end with a Between date slicer.

If the calendar popup opens when clicking,

    • Press Esc to close the calendar popup
    • Then click inside the date text field and type the value.

Hope this helps. Please reach out for further assistance.
    Thank you.

    Attaching .pbix file for reference.

You can click directly on the start or end date box

Users can type a date in that box or pick it from the calendar popup, then press Enter.

      Hi ryan_mayu
I’m not sure what’s causing this, but a date pop-up keeps appearing and I’m unable to change the date.
Could you please provide a screenshot or guide me on what I might be doing wrong?

      Using Slicer

  • The “Between” date slicer allows users to type dates directly into those input boxes (like 20/01/2026 and 31/12/2056) or use the slider.

Just wanted to check if the response provided by ryan_mayu was helpful. Could you please confirm if you are able to enter date manually by clicking on the text box.

    Thank you.
