Any solution for repeat rows of customized matrix visual?
Looking for a customized visual solution that can provide repeat dimension rows in the Matrix.
Please help give a suggestion, it seems Microsoft is waiting for the third party to help them fix it!

Hi Anonymous
Are you refering to repeating the headers on a matrix for each row?
That option is now available on Power BI using the options table repeat row headers.
Check the updates of may with the full explanation

Thanks for the help and the key point(UPDATE THE PBI DESKTOP FIRST AND OPEN OLD PROJECT FILE IN NEW VERSION!). I re-opened the project file in the latest version of PBI Desktop, Matrix visual is being fixed really. I'm wondering why I can't see the same options when direct open the old project file.
Happy to hear the change is so in time.
The only doubts is why PBI Desktop can't directly using the newest version interfaces when editing the old version project file? I thought if the software being update so that the visuals inside can be updated...

Hi Anonymous ,
Not really sure what you mean by:

If you don't update Power BI the new features won't be available, depeding on how you have done the install of PBI desktop this can be automatic or not. From the store PBI will be automatically updated if it's a manual download you always need to install the new version (usually monthly updates).
Concerning the question about the expanding default to my knowledge that is not possible only option to do it in a single time is to go to the right click options and select expand all:

May I ask for another desirable function of Maxtrix?
Does it support expanding all parent items in default now? Which means the user won't need to manual expand it after add dimension columns. It's quite needed when using field parameters to control the dimension selections, and will make the layout alway like a unfolded table...
Thanks again!
