Anonymise data in Power BI in visuals

Hi,

Is there a way to change certain field values in Power BI, ideally without much modification to the underlying dataset?

I am creating some training material using our dashboard in Power BI service, but the visuals contain sensitive information (names of clients etc). When users access these reports, the information will be compartmentalised by row level security, but I do not want to make a separate training video for each user group.

Is there a quick fix for this?

You could clone your model/report.  In the clone, create a set of fake tables that will do the anomising.  Ie. you might have a fake employee table that has 2 columns, Real Name and Fake Name.  Link those tables to your data and update your cloned visuals to use the new fields/tables.
