Anomaly Detection and "Report layout differences might exist" Message

I have the latest version of Power BI August 2024 and today when I started working on one of my anomaly detection reports using anomaly detection functionality within the power bi desktop environment I got the unity container message (please refer to the attached screenshot) and the anomaly detection visual showed an error. Also, when I opened my desktop application I got this weird message "Report layout differences might exist" so the functionality may not be avaialble till the next release.

This is quite unsetteling given that I have a show and tell very soon with my stakeholders and I am relying heavily on the inbuil AI solutions within power bi and unfortunatley none of those are working even the narratives.

Do you know how we can solve this issue or is there a timeline for the solution or is this even a known issue?

Thanks

Hi @skappal9 ,

Based on the description, try to clear cache and traces folder.

Besides, try to uninstall Power BI Desktop and reinstall it from download center.

Thanks a lot Wisdom Wu uninstalling and reinstalling the PBI desktop from the download center worked, I think there is some issue with the Microsoft Store Based downloads and autoupdates.
