Hi all,
I have a requirement to make a timeline/calendar which ideally looks like the snip below which has been mocked up in Excel. The purpose is to ulitmately display 30+ initiatives down the Y axis and the tasks which need to be performed throughout the year for each initiative. I have tried a few of the custom visuals but I'm struggling to create something similar. PowerBI is my preference but if anyone has any other suggestions for tools I could use in the O365 suite of applications - I would be very happy to try them out.
Thanks in advance,

Hi @FarmingBA
It is possible to create something similar to this gantt chart using a matrix/ gantt chart visuals.
Here are some tutorials that may be helpful. I would appreciate it if you would check them out.

The other way is to use Excel...

@Ritaf1983 did you solve this problem in some ways? I'm in the same situation and still wondering how to solve it...
I assume the Gantt approach is not appropriate since an activity can have multiple start/end dates.
Any hint could be appreciate!
Thank you very much. I doubt i'll get another reponse as thorough as this so I will accept as solution now. Very much appreciated!!
