Anaplan and PBI connector issue

If they find a solution I'll share back here.
In the meantime I am contemplating workarounds. I have the option of using Alteryx which also has a connector for Anaplan. I could in theory use Alteryx to connect to the reports in Anaplan and dump a csv file into a Sharepoint folder and then connect Power BI to those csv files.
An update on this, we've been told to expect progress in some updates at the end of this month.
