An error occurred while processing the data in the dataset.

Hello All,

I created a report using Direct Query for Postgres database on Azure. It works perfectly on PowerBI desktop but when i upload it to PowerBI service the dataset refreshes fine and there seems to be no errors when refreshing the data on demand. However, when i go to the report i always get the following error 'An error occurred while processing the data in the dataset.' and i cant view any of the graphs i created. When i click on any graph to see more details i get the following:

'Couldn't retrieve the data for this visual. Please try again later.'

I tried all privacy settings but nothing is working for me. I also do not use a gateway as all the data is in the cloud so i am really unsure about what to do.

Any ideas?

Hi @Adham ,

Maybe you can configure a gateway and try again.

This is usually a transient issue. If you try again later and you still see this message, contact support.
