An error occurr while rendering the report when I add a filled map using Bing Map

Hi Everyone,

I add a filled map which uses Bing Map to my report. Then there is an error in my report.

the error message is "An error occurred while rendering the report".

If I delete the map, the error diaappear. However, we need the map.

How can fix this issue? Could you give me some suggestion?

Hi,

Is Map Visual required or Is Bing Map Visual required?

If any map visual will do, you can try using the other in-built map that are provided for your visual

No looks like the default is Bing Map.

Which Version of Power BI are you using? I am using the May Version and I am not able to reproduce your issue.

As far as I checked, until February version, this issue was existing

Hi,

When I designed the report, I used the May version. After the error occurred, I update to the June version.

I am not sure if the reason is that filled map can't identify Chinese Provinces and Cityies very well.

Oh Ok...Your region is that of China.

Then you should look at using the Custom Chinese Maps. May be it is for that reason they have released separate Custom Maps for China Region
