Ambiguity between tables

Hi evryone, I am trying to create a dashboard and I used the direct query mode to import the database, I have created some joins between some tables:

first Join between the tables : work and incident

Second Join between the tables : KPI and incident

I am trying to create a visualtion in terms of the tables Work and KPI but I got this error

Capture2.PNG

Anyone can help me please ?

Hi @Asma,

The error "can't display the data because PowerBI can't determine the relationship between two or more fields" means that you are trying to use two or more fields from tables that are not related. You need to remove the unrelated fields from the visual and then recreate a relationship between the corresponding fields in multiple tables. Also verfiy the columns connecting two tables are in same data type.

For more advice, please share sample data and show us the relationship you created between those three tables.

Best regards,
Yuliana Gu
