Hello @Bi-Beginner13

To save a dashboard with a different name and move it to a different workspace without affecting the original dashboard, you can follow these steps:

  1. Save a Copy of the Report:
  • Open the report in Power BI Desktop that is associated with the dashboard you want to duplicate.
  • Go to the ‘File menu’, then select ‘Save As’.
  • Give the report a new name and save it to your desired location.

     2. Publish the Report to a Different Workspace:

  • In Power BI Desktop, with the newly saved report open, go to the ‘Home’ tab.
  • Click on ‘Publish’.
  • Click ‘Select’ to publish the report to a different workspace from the original report

    3. Create a New Dashboard in the New Workspace:

  • Once the report is published, go to the Power BI Service (app.powerbi.com).
  • Navigate to the workspace where you published the report.
  • Open the report, then pin visuals to a new dashboard within that workspace.
  • Give the new dashboard a name when prompted.

    4. Verify the Original Dashboard:

  • Go back to the original workspace and ensure that the original dashboard is intact and unchanged.

If you want to save a copy of your current Power BI dashboard with a different name and store it in a different workspace without losing the original, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Dashboard:

    • Open the Power BI service and navigate to the workspace containing your current dashboard.
  2. Select the Dashboard:

    • Click on the dashboard you want to duplicate.
  3. Save As:

    • In the dashboard view, locate the ellipsis (three dots) menu on the top-right corner of the dashboard.
  4. Choose "Save As":

    • From the menu, select the "Save As" option. This will allow you to save a copy of the dashboard.
  5. Provide a New Name:

    • Enter a new name for the dashboard. This will help you differentiate between the original and the duplicated dashboard.
  6. Select a Workspace:

    • Choose the workspace where you want to save the duplicated dashboard. If you want to save it in a different workspace, select the appropriate workspace from the dropdown list.
  7. Review and Confirm:

    • Review the details, including the new name and workspace, and confirm your selections.
  8. Save:

    • Click the "Save" button to create a copy of the dashboard with the specified name in the selected workspace.

By following these steps, you'll have a duplicated version of your original dashboard saved with a different name in the desired workspace. The original dashboard in its original workspace will remain unaffected.

Hi @Bi-Beginner13

You are referring to Dashboard or Report?

If it is report then follow below steps
1. Publish the report in one workspace
2. Publish the dataset
3. Use this dataset to create more reports for different workspace
So you have one parent dataset and many child reports. Once the parent dataset gets refreshed, all child report will refreshed automatically. This is the advantage of using this approach.

In place of Dataset, you can create Dataflow and use it.

If solved, please mark this comment as SOLUTION

Thanks
