Hi PBI'ers,
My company is looking into Alteryx, an ETL-tool.
i've not really found something I could do in Alteryx but not in PowerBI, doe anybode have a clue?
The only benefit I see is the procesflow of your data, it's more clear in Alteryx.
Thanks already!
Kind regards,
Niels Deckers

Alteryx and Power Query are both capable ETL tools. Generally this conversation comes up in regards to Tableau vs. Power BI. With Tableau, you have to have a separate ETL tool like Alteryx, I don't know of a single Tableau shop of any size that doesn't.
With Power BI you generally do not need a separate ETL tool because Power Query is more than capable and is being extended to the Service with Data Flows.

Have you found any advantage of Alteryx over Power Query yet?
