Alternative to rotating Power BI reports on a big screen when Power BI App is not longer available

 Is there any alternative to show rotating reports on a screen when the Power BI Windows app will be coming to its end as of December 2023?

Alternatives that I know of:

- Chrome extensions (not an alternativ)

- Custom software (not an alternativ)

That's a tough question to answer since both Chrome extensions and 3rd-party software - like the one I've built called Displagent - is not an option for you.

Can I ask why, is it security requirements or something similar?

As stated elsewhere, the Power BI team is making a new Powerpoint integration that they will be announcing in 2024, that might meet some of your needs.

There is also the Power BI Javascript SDK, you could try coding your own solution. But take it from someone who has built a custom Power BI app for 1.5 years, it is HARD.

If there's a way that you can use a 3rd party tool, that would probably best solve your needs. Otherwise, you'll have to wait and see if the Powerpoint feature solves your needs in 2024.

Elsewhere in this forum the product team commented that they plan to roll out improvements to the PowerPoint integration that will do all these things (and more)
