I have a table containing data that goes back 32 days. There are 3 bit type columns in the table which are used as flags: MTD, Last 10 Days and Last 30 Days (based on yesterday's date). I would like to have something like a slicer that functions like radio buttons and allows me to switch between filtering on these 3 columns, and also makes it clear which filter is active, preferably by highlighting the selected button. A couple of thoughts I had that I cannot seem to make work:
I have built this out in Excel using VBA, but I am in the early stages of transitioning to Power BI, and this would be an immensely helpful feature. I do not think there is anything like VBA for Power BI, and I cannot find any other options that might provide this capability, but I hope I am just missing something. Thanks in advance!
Seems like a good use case for slicers. Why are slicers bad?
