Post ProdigyAlternative Gateway for published reports
Hi . I am going away soon and all my published reports bring in data from an ODBC source , where I have to be connected to my company VPN for it to work.
My question is , is there a way I can assign an alternative gateway to a work colleague who also has access to the ODBC source from his computer.
So I can switch the gateway to his computer , when I am away.

There are two methods you may considerate:
1.You may create a gateway cluster, see the article: Manage on-premises data gateway high-availability clusters and load balancing. The Power BI service always uses the primary gateway in the cluster, unless it’s not available. In that case, the service switches to the next gateway in the cluster .
2.You may let the colleague take over your gateway , see more: Migrate, restore, or take over an on-premises data gateway.

Pandadev , move your pbix to a central system in the company and create a gateway there and publish.
