Alternative Gateway for published reports

There are two methods you may considerate:

1.You may create a gateway cluster, see the article: Manage on-premises data gateway high-availability clusters and load balancing. The Power BI service always uses the primary gateway in the cluster, unless it’s not available. In that case, the service switches to the next gateway in the cluster .

2.You may let the colleague take over your gateway , see more: Migrate, restore, or take over an on-premises data gateway.
