Allowing export of Underlying Data with RLS
Hello. I have RLS set up in a PBI report and have assigned users to those roles. It's working well! However....the users can no longer select the option to export underlying data from a chart. I have checked my report settings and the box is definitely checked. Is it somehow limited because of the RLS? I still want users to be able to export underlying data for the charts but am unsure how to set this up. As an admin, I can still see this option when I try, but it's not working for anyone assigned to a role. Any help much appreciated. Thank you
Thank you for your reply. In PBI Service, if I 'view as role', I can see and select the option to export underlying data as this user. However, when that user is logged in themselves, the option is greyed out. Is this a setting at their end that's causing the problem, possibly?
