Allow internal users to edit shared report without downloading it
Hi,
Here is the issue,
I created a report which uses the Arcgis Map in order to exploit the drive time function. I would like to share it to my company, and people should be able to edit the report (ideally only the arcgis map) in order to set up the drive time function (changing the drive time for example). Is it possible ?
The better option would be to allow people only to edit the arcgis map (and not the whole report), so is it eventually possible to enable people to set up the drive time area in the arcgis map WITHOUT editing the map ?
Eventually i could share the report in a workspace, but the thing is that i dont want people to be able to dowload the report.
I am currently using the free version of PowerBi. Do we have a better control of the editing mode with the premium version, and could it solve my problem ?
Many thanks !

Hi laboule
You can create an App Workspace and then make your co-workers Members with Edit permissions in the App Workspace you create. This will allow them to edit, refresh and make changes to existing reports and dashboards in the App Workspace. There's no better way for them only to edit the arcgis map.For your users to view your app, either they need to have a Power BI Pro license, too, or the app needs to be stored in a Power BI Premium capacity. For further, please refer to this article.

Many thanks for your help.
Still, the thing is that i don't want people to be able to download the report for their personal use; i just want them to be able to edit it (in order to edit the Arcgis Map). Is that possible with the app ?
Moreover is there a way to restrict them to only edit the Arcgis Map, and not the whole report ?
Thanks !

Hi laboule
I'm afraid there is no better way to restrict them to only edit the Arcgis Map.
