Allexcept with multiple slicer criteria
Hi Friends,
Could somebody find out the denominator in a ratio for the below query...!
Date | Prime Status | SPU | Deal | Type | Count |
10/19/2017 | Prime -1 | SPU -1 | 0 | 1 | 2 |
10/7/2017 | Prime - 2 | SPU -1 | 1 | 0 | 5 |
5/14/2018 | Prime - 3 | SPU -1 | 1 | 1 | 7 |
4/18/2017 | Prime -4 | SPU -1 | 0 | 0 | 12 |
12/6/2016 | Prime - 5 | SPU -1 | 0 | 0 | 15 |
4/14/2016 | Prime - 6 | SPU -1 | 1 | 1 | 30 |
3/28/2017 | Prime - 7 | SPU -1 | 0 | 1 | 8 |
11/5/2015 | Prime - 8 | SPU -1 | 1 | 0 | 4 |
10/10/2015 | Prime - 9 | SPU -1 | 0 | 0 | 20 |
10/24/2018 | Prime - 10 | SPU -1 | 1 | 1 | 40 |
From the above table the “Deal” and “Type” and “Prime Status” columns are considered in three separate slicers.
The date also in a date slicer. Total four filter slicers available.
The Numerator will be SUM of Count and shall be based on all of four slicers selection criteria.
Now coming to Denominator, it should be based on three slicers (Deal, Type, Date slicers). The “Prime Status” slicer should not affect the denominator.
Denominator DAX = Calculate(SUM(Count), Allexcept(Deal, Type, Date)
Ratio DAX = Divide(SUM(Count), Denominator DAX
But when I change the "Prime Status" slicer to a perticular selections and also with the date slicer the percentage may not seems correct . Please help.
Thanks for your valuble time and patience.
Riyaz

I did some testing, and it appears that when you switch your date to Between values, the filter is turn off for date when filtering from other slicers. You can observe this behavior by using Edit Interaction. You could either change this behavior using Edit Interaction or simply use Dropdown display instead of Between.
