All visuals not allowing anything to be added to values

I am trying to create visuals and none of them are allowing me to add data fields to "Values". 

Please help.

I want to create a matrix and its not letting me drop a field into "Values"

How best do i share a file? Sorry, very new user here. 
It happens on any visual, even a simple card.

Its fine , just upload the file to any cloud like g-drive or one- drive and paste the link in the reply

Hey @emilyrabone you have share the whole folder, make sure you share your file only (for privacy) , delete this link and share the link of you file

I dont understand what you mean by share the file i am sorry.

usually we have only one file that is PBIX which we share , but the link you shared  loks like this
and I can't find the PBIX file here . But my mistake the whole folder was the PBIX report, this was new experience for me. please keep that link live and i am looking to the issue.

The problem seem to be in the column you are using. for any chart we need data for X-axis and Y-axis.  but you data remains on one axis only 
1) like on first try i used all the charts on this table but aall your values remains in Y-axis

2) But when I tried in another way , here also Y-axis remain empty 

You need to add a column or data on Y-axis.
Note- May be may be !! the problem is in file.  some times it corrupts , just try with this data in new PBIX file.
