Aligning 2 tables

Good day,   In my report there are 2 tables in a page (pls refer picture below) I had aligned the columns in Matrix table 1 and 2 and moved table 2 under table1 such that just the numbers are ...

    Based on your screenshot, unless there's blank value, it supposes to keep same width since both matrix have same column group. But anyway, it's not possible to fix the width of a matrix. You may have both matrix "show items with no data"

    Thanks very much for taking time to assist with this.
    Let me try your suggestion to show item with no data and
    see whether it helps. Guess I have to live with the issue for now :-(

Why not create a relationship between the tables and use all values in 1 matrix?

    Thanks for your suggestion.

    Both tables point to the same source. Table 1 shows the numbers as a calculated percentage for the current month and table 2 shows the Year-to-date sum.
