Hi,
I need to create alerts off of the value in a visual if it's above some threshold. My understanding is that I can only create alerts from a single pinned visual in a dashboard. But single pinned visuals are not "live", so they don't update when the underlying data/reports update.
Can this really be the case that the entire alert functionality is essentially useless because single pinned visuals don't update with new data? Or am I missing something?
Hi @hedgy123,
Have you configured the backend dataset that you used to design the reports? If you enable refresh on your dataset, pinned tile will also refresh based on the source report and the data alert will trigger if they meet the conditions.
