Alert/Email when dataset is updated
Hey all,
Is there any way to setup an alert or email to a group of people when a report's dataset gets updated?

Greg_Deckler that was actually what I had in mind but I hoped there was another way of doing it. Thanks anyway 🙂

Failed dataset refresh prompt:
1.To enable this settings, go to PowerBI service and then under your dataset select on "Scheduled refresh" settings by clicking on the Ellipsis button next to it
2.In the new page of dataset settings, collapse Scheduled refresh and enable "Send refresh failure notifications to the dataset owner"
3.You can also add other users if you would like with their emails.

There is no direct way for it. As a workaround, you can subscribe to reports after data refresh, But it will send e-mails after

Well, yes, with subscriptions I always send the email after and if data is not refreshed for some reason people will still get an email which is not the goal.. But thanks anyway!
