    Anonymous ,

     

    In power bi desktop, you can import multiple data source and then merge/append the imported tables. In power bi service, you can pin visuals from different report/data source in the same dashboard.

Hi, Thanks but I don't think this answers my question. My question was about using the new aggregations feature with data from different sources (different SQL server databases, dataflows etc).

    Hi,

     

    Apologies for the late response but I have been on annual leave.

     

    This isn't a solution. I know how to combine data from multiple sources. My question is around the new aggregations feature described here (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-aggregations) and making this work with multiple data sources (i.e. dataflow, on prem SQL database, cloud AWS etc). I can't get it to work and I think it is something to do with the strong/weak relationship section, but would be good to get some advice from someone else.
