Aggregating Columns

Hello Power BI Community!

Long time lurker, first time poster here.

Here is a simplified version of my fact table

My goal is to create a new table that consolidates daily employee averages. Unfortunately, I've only been able to produce one that yields total employee averages.

Here's what I did

Batman's actual average daily work volume is 3.33 his total average work volume is 2.5

Questions

1. How can I modify the DAX above to produce the daily averages instead of the total averages?

2. Why does the DAX above work correctly for 'Days Worked' and not the other columns?

Icing on The Cake

My ultimate goal is to create a table that I can use to create a conditionally formatted matrix based on the Z score for each of the metrics so I can highlight top performers. Is there an easier way to accomplish this?

May the Force be with you,

Kyle

  • Hi AlB ,
I was actually able to fix this calculation on my own but I still need help with the "Icing on the Cake Section".
Might need to take you up on that tutoring if I can't figure it ğŸ˜‘

    Hi mccollough

Do you want to share the input table in text-tabular format, instead of on a pic, so that the contents can be copied? Plus show the expected result

And if you want an answer on the Z score please show how exactly it should be calculated. Maybe here you have the solution: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Can-PowerBi-give-me-Z-Scores/m-p/250980
