Advice on how to evaluate a complex survey

Hello Power BI Community!

I would like to ask for help with one survey I am working with. I would like to visualize my results in Power BI and be able to sort it according to different categories. The key is that users fill out the (only checkboxes) survey (made in Power Apps + Sharepoint list) and I need to sort them into categories according to their most often chosen answers.

Example: If there were 20 options of food, I would like to see on a graph who chose rather vegetarian options, sweet options etc.

Could anyone please give me an advice how to easily do this? I am new to Power BI and have no idea how to manage this problem. How can I distribute values (names of dishes) into categories (sweet, vegetarian...) using Power BI (or should it be done in Sharepoint list/ Power Apps?)

Please, I would appreciate any help or piece of advice on how to handle this and would be beyond grateful.

You can group food types in Power BI (either in Power Query  or using DAX/ group function). However, it is probably sensible to do it at the source, since it will probably be easier to maintain if the food types are set in advance.
