Hi Anonymous ,

1. If you want to use the modified excel in power bi desktop, you can just use 'Refresh' option in Home ribbon instead of changing data source or reimport file.
2. If you want to find Advanced editor, you can follow these steps:
   • Home -> Transfrom data ->Power Query Editors -> Home -> Advanced editor
