Advanced Search feature in Power BI

Hi All,

 

I have a requirement where I need to search the data within columns in Power BI dashboard. 

e.g. "Business AND Analytics" , "Business OR Analytics"

I don't want to use Q&A feature.

 

Is there a way we can implement this using Azure search feature ? A dataset can have n number of columns. So we should be able to search within all columns. 

Any link/blogs to similar requirement would really help

    HI akj2784,

     

    Unfortunately, current power bi not support this, you can't use filter/slicer to search text in multiple columns. Maybe you can consider to write a dax formula to lookup multiple columns and return result tag or submit an idea for this requirement.

      Is there any way we can do it using integration with some other tools features ?

       

      Can Azure Search help in this case ?

        HI akj2784,

         

        Nope, I don't think you can direct use external features on power bi desktop side.
