I have a sheet with sales data that I am working on in Power BI. In my sheet, I have all my sales per day and there is an extra column where special promotions are recorded, so for each day, I have the number of sales and either the name of the applicable promotion or an empty cell in my 'promotions column'.
Now, I am looking for a way to display the name of the promotion (if applicable) next to/below/above the respective date in my visual (e.g. a bar chart with dates on the axis) in Power BI. Is there a simple way to do this? I have tried finding a solution for my problem in previous posts, but unfortunately, I have not found anything that fully matches my requirements.
Thank you very much for your help!

@Anonymous , would you like to have both on-axis ?
then -> Expand -> concatenate label off -> sort on dates

@Anonymous , I doubt you can do that on-axis. if that is text information I doubt you can show that in the label. The only place you can show that is a tooltip , you can add that to tooltip or create a tooltip page and show there
Thank you for your quick reply, @amitchandak!
As the 'promotion data' is mostly available in 'blocks' (e.g. there are always groups of days that are part of a promotion), simple tooltips probably would not be that helpful, as users cannot identify start and end of certain promotions without manually hovering over all individual dates available. However, if I understand correctly, creating a tooltip page would at least allow me to display the complete information (e.g. all tooltips available) when users are hovering over the chart. Is that correct? If yes, I'll take a deeper look into tooltip pages.
